Some of the maintenance technician most important duties and responsibilities include: Leasing Agent A Leasing Agent will be responsible to fulfill all the required duties related to their job. Primary duties for most Leasing Agent positions include: PainterA Painter will be responsible for protecting surfaces not being painted from damage, to move painting tools and supplies to and from the work site safely, to follow and exercise all safety procedures and local building regulations. Prepare properties for rent to show prospective tenants
Portray the property and amenities in a positive fashion
Ensure the property is well-maintained
Determine the needs of potential tenants
Maintain working knowledge of the property market
Collect and organize important documents and payments
Responding to various maintenance requests
Scheduling deliveries from suppliers and keeping an inventory of maintenance tools and supplies
Making recommendations and requests for new maintenance products and equipment as necessary
Training new maintenance staff when necessary
CleanerA Cleaner’s main responsibilities and duties will vary depending on the office and building. The cleaner will carry out routine inspections of certain areas to help identify and address where cleaning is needed. The cleaner will be responsible to fulfill the following duties on a regular day-to-day basis:
Make beds, change and wash linens where applicable
Respond to employee or guest requests
Clean premises before new tenant moves in
Clean windows
Clean and disinfect all surface areas, including bathrooms, common kitchens, desks, and conference rooms
Replenish toilet paper and hand towels
Dust surfaces
Mop and polish floors; vacuum carpets and rugs
Pick up trash and empty trash bins
Use a variety of methods to advertise rental properties
Moving ladders, paint cans, and other painting equipment
Source cost efficient equipment and supplies
Issue bills and invoices and collect payments from clients
Drive vehicle with paint equipment and supplies to and from work sites
Check inventory and order paint and other supplies as needed
Assist in building residential and commercial space and/or renovating existing ones
Maintain vehicles and storage areas clean and tidy
Negotiate with clients and handle complaints
